Greetings, and welcome back to our series on how to stay organized while downsizing your living space. Last time, we discussed making a list of items you absolutely can’t live without. Once you’ve packed those pieces away, it’s time to make some big decisions on what else to bring to your smaller home.
Think about all the stuff that’s sitting in drawers, closets and other nooks and crannies around your home that you never use. Unless you find something valuable when searching through these spaces, get rid of all these items immediately. Decluttering as you take inventory will make the final moving process much simpler.
During the downsizing process, you’ll probably run into plenty of items you’d like to keep but aren’t sure if you have space for in your new residence. If these pieces aren’t one-of-a-kind, get rid of them. You can always replace them later!
Thanks for watching.
